With my many years of experience in the field of cultural mediation and cultural management in the context of an established and alternative Austrian cultural landscape that is particularly rich by global standards, I am drawn in my current professional phase to a place that allows me to broaden my horizons in a wider global context, to enrich the logic of a Eurocentric world view prevalent in democratic Western affluent societies with new perspectives and to explore opportunities and challenges for contemporary cultural work against the background of increasing social and political insecurity, social inequality, cultural diversity, urban-rural differences and the consequences of climate change in the field of practical cultural work.
Learning and further training objectives for my cultural work in Austria and for international cooperation:
- Communication and networking with other organizations and cultural partner institutions: Design of concepts, calls and kick-offs in English
- Development of structures for multi-professional and interdisciplinary projects and processes
- Audience development: methods for reaching new social and target groups
- Creative methods for developing cultural identity
- Innovation, sustainability, benefits for the region, visibility/inclusion of women, ethnic and social minorities, climate-neutral transportation, etc.
- Public relations: Contact and cooperation with the media, local key players, acquisition of digital tools, especially social
media and innovative, low-threshold access - Financing: Tapping into local resources, understanding regarding opportunities and risks in the area of sponsorship (initiation, communication and contracting with suitable interested private companies
- Cooperation and cultural exchange between Austria and Pakistan: Development of cultural partnerships and formats for mutual invitations
- Sustainable positioning of Austrian artists and collectives

Workshops and Masterclasses
As a part of involvement as cultural mediator I was involved in participating and organizing several master class and workshops beside Austria and Europe as well as in countries around the world like Kathmandu, Nepal as well in Pakistan and Mexico. Through the master classes, we came into personal contact with local budding musicians and were able to learn from each other.
